Quilpie Shire Library

The Quilpie Library is located next door to the Quilpie Shire Council Administration building in Brolga Street, Quilpie.  Our library services a large rural and remote area, including the townships of Quilpie, Eromanga, Toompine, Cheepie and Adavale.  We also service the families on the many sheep and cattle properties in our shire, as well as those on the oil, gas and Opal mines. Due to the vast distances people must travel in our shire to reach Quilpie, we offer a mail service. Essentially this means that those who reside out of town may request books to be delivered by mail truck.

MONDAY      10am - 1pm & 2pm - 4:30pm
TUESDAY     12noon - 4:30pm
WEDNESDAY 10:00am - 1:00pm / 2:00pm - 4:30pm
THURSDAY   12:00noon - 4:30pm
FRIDAY        10:00am - 1:00pm / 2:00pm - 4:30pm
SATURDAY   9:00am - 12:00noon
