Expressions of Interest - Design, Construct and Remodelling Quilpie Memorial Swimming Pool

Quilpie Shire Council intends to remodel its existing Memorial Swimming Pool to include the provision of water space in line with current standards for a modern aquatic centre.

Council is seeking submissions from suitably qualified contractors which must include details of their proposed methodology and preliminary designs together with a comprehensive list of equipment intended to be installed.

The proposed works must include but are not limited to the following:

- Design and Engineering plans and specifications
- Proposed demolition plan
- Conversion of the existing 33m pool into a new 25m pool with Wet Deck overflow skimming profiles
- Construction of a new Heated Multi-Purpose pool and including a suitable weather proof enclosure.
- Design and construction of a new leisure play pool with interactive water features and a minimum water space of 60m2.
- Provision of all new FW and SW pipework
- Design and installation of new Filtration and improved Dosing systems to comply with current Qld Health Guidelines.

Council reserves the right not to accept any or all Expressions of Interest.

Expressions of Interest are required in writing and marked accordingly and will be received until 2pm 9th April 2010.
