Abandoned Vehicle - Posted 4/7/2008
Quilpie Shire Council in accordance with Transport Operations (Road Use Management Act) 1995, hereby advertises the proposed sale of an abandoned vehicle, registration number 672 HNF.  The vehicle was abandoned in Jabiru Street, Quilpie between February and June in 2007.  If you wish to claim ownership please contact Council, showing proof of ownership and a fee must be paid to recover costs. 

Should you be interested in purchasing the vehicle please contact Rod Cooney on Ph. 4656 0500 to arrange a suitable inspection time.  The vehicle will be disposed of on Monday 21st July if not claimed or purchased by 5pm Friday 18 July, 2008.

Major Council Decisions - Posted 4/7/2008
The July 9 Council Meeting will include the adoption of Council’s 2008-09 Budget.

Council’s formal Enterprise Bargaining offer to the workforce was put to the workforce on June 30.  A further meeting will be held on July 14 to follow up on this offer.
